📈 CryptoRank: Perp volumes more than tripled in 2025
The sector shifted from a near-monopolistic setup dominated by Hyperliquid into a highly competitive field.
Mainly driven by liquidity rotation from memecoins, perps volume hit an ATH of $1.8T in October, retracing to $864M at the EOY.
Now, Lighter, Aster, and Hyperliquid is the leading trio with quite similar volumes. Meanwhile, past leaders, like Jupiter, dYdX, and GMX are currently behind in this race. #LIT #ASTER #HYPE

Hey @Lilsi799, are you in Europe by chance? That sounds like MiCA regulation. Binance had to restrict USDT pairs there, which is annoying, but important to know it’s a regional compliance thing and not a Holo thing. Curious to hear from European Binance users here how they've adapted to the change, and also any general feedback folks want to share on CEX vs DEX, desire for a HOT/USDC pair on Binance Europe or some other large CEX.
99.99% of Binance HOT liquidity is currently on the HOT/USDT pair. The ETH pair delisting very likely just has to do with the fact that there's much smaller volume there compared to the USDT one and it's better business for them to consolidate.
