In simulations of real-world smart contract hacks in 2020-2025, Claude Opus 4.5, Sonnet 4.5, and GPT-5 together reproduced an exploit cost of approximately $4.6 million. In scanning 2,849 recently deployed contracts without any known vulnerabilities, the models also discovered two new zero-day bugs and created profitable exploits.
